So, I’m doing this out of order. I’ve got like 5 other things to blog before this shoot, so I was just going to do a sneak peak post. But then I got carried away because these are amazing! This shoot was SO much fun… and I’m sorry, but I have to say that this was my favorite shoot (besides weddings) to date. The lighting, the location, the subject, everything.
Audra and I know each other from college. She gave me a call last week and said she wanted to do a last minute shoot in her wedding dress for her husband, Matt, for their anniversary. Their anniversary was less than a week away, but I thought it was such a fun idea that I scheduled her for the next day. She wanted to wear her hair down and wear cowboy boots because Matt likes both, so I wanted to do it on a farm or in the country. My dear friends, the Hanna family, go to our church, and they live on this beautiful farm out in Thomasville. I just did their family photos on their farm, and I kept saying how gorgeous it was, so they told me I could use it any time. What a blessing! They weren’t even there, and they just left their doors unlocked and let us use a room for Audra to get dressed and ready in. Anyway, it all worked out perfectly, and here they are. Get ready for these to take your breath away!
This one’s my favorite. Love the lighting. Notice the gnats… she was a trooper 🙂The brown belt was such a fabulous idea. These remind me of an Estee Lauder perfume commercial.
Sweet, sweet horses. The one on the right is the one she framed for Matt. Great choice, right?! From what I hear, Matt LOVED them. You’re a lucky man, Matt!
